Title KKK The Kreed of the Klansman: A Symposium by E. Haldeman-Julius and Others
Collection John Martin Smith Ku Klux Klan Collection
Summary This is a book of essays and opinions of the Ku Klux Klan and American views toward the Klan. This book takes a negative view of the KKK and how to counter the impact that the Klan has on America. In the first essay, "The Sweep of Bigotry", the author states that the ignorance of the masses allows the thriving of the Klan and compares America to England as inferior in culture. In another essay, "Traditional Antagonisms", the KKK is described as being part of Anti-Catholic activity, similar to Freemasonry. Included in the book are excerpts from two different Klan documents.
